New York Fashion Week is full of surprises. This season I had the honor of bumping into the great Patti Labelle backstage at the Zang Toi Show. We shared a moment as I looked into her eyes, held her hands and told her how much of an inspiration she is to me. She smiled and was so kind. Phew! What a dream come true. The Zang Toi Show was marvelous and definitely a beautiful collection of classic resort and formal pieces all women can wear

The Military Jacket by BLONDESANDBAGELS

What she wore:

Jacket: Banana Republic x Olivia Palermo, Belted Military Jacket

Tee: Junk Food, Enjoy Coke Graphic T-Shirt

Jeans: American Eagle, Kick Boot Jeans

Shoes: Steve Madden, Marina Wedge Sandal

The highlight of NYFW for BLONDESANDBAGELS:

My favorite moment was meeting THE Olivia Palermo. Not only was her collection with Banana Republic unique (it was a "shop now" show, not featuring products to be sold 6 months later) but it was also awesome to see the power of INFLUENCE. Olivia is an influencer herself and has turned herself into a brand. She was so down to earth and inspiring...and seriously gorgeous in person.
